Canada v. Argentina: What pub to watch in?

Well, considering Canada is one week away its most high-profile international friendly since 2007, I figured it was time the Ultimate Guide to Canadian Soccer Pubs met with the current thread on the supporters group board that details viewing parties across the country.

Looks like parties are planned for the following cities: Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Kingston, Ottawa and Montreal. C’mon Atlantic provinces, somebody needs to step up 🙂

If you’ve never been out to watch Canada in a pub before, there’s no better time time than a holiday Monday game against Argentina. I know everybody goes through spells of just wanting to be alone with their favourite team, breaking furniture and cursing at the television in solitude. But nothing compares to getting wasted and jumping around hugging total strangers, it’s the way football was meant to be experienced.

On a personal note, at least some portion of the three Some Canadian Guys will be at the Duke of Gloucester on Yonge just south of Bloor in Toronto. Hope to see a big crowd out!
